I have not used any of these, Most of them seem like junk to me. I don't have any issue with the 3/Y screen, only took me about a week to get used to not having an IC right in front of me. The only thing you really need to look at initially is speed, and even that you learn to get a good feel for the speed from your other senses without even looking. Navigation is probably what I look at on the screen most often now, and there's no good way to send that to another screen, as the data isn't available on CAN.
Whether looking down or over, you still have to refocus your eyes. I would have loved it if Tesla gave us a HUD that's out closer to the focal distance your eyes are at when looking at the road, but they didn't. It's not really easy to add such a thing either.
