I’ve had them as rentals several times, for an aggregate of probably two weeks of driving. Yes, in general they’re less quirky than Teslas. The self-driving is like Ford’s, less twitchy but less aggressive than Tesla’s. The interior and user interface are ok. The rental ones I’ve had have felt very under-powered to me, but that may be a setting the rental car agencies are using. Volvo ergonomics have always been a puzzlement to me… on the old 1970s-1990s ones, the foot-pedals always seemed too close and the steering wheel too far away. On the Polestars, that’s fine, but the top of the windshield seems insanely low to me, so I have to crouch down to see stoplights. Overall, nowhere near as nice as my old Model X was, but a lot more likable than a Model 3, if you can get past the under-powered bit. -Bill -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
