Hi Folks,

I have two new 280ah 12V batteries in series on my solar/wind float charge
27.6 recommended by Eco-Worthy.com (chinese) that I bought from.

Is a flying capacitor battery balancer needed to keep them from drifting
apart? Currently they're both at 13.3V ea. On me EV conversions in the
past with LiFePO4 batteries, I'd put a zener-Fet-resistor balancer on *each*
cell for 120V DC system - but this one is only 24V and the internal 4 cells
in each 12V pack have internal balancers (so they say).

BTW, Shelor Chevy finally caved in to my battery replacement request on my
2020 Bolt that died with the "80% software update". I asked the service
manager if I could watch the replacement 64KWH pack with maybe a few others
in our EV club - but he said he'd have to check with his manager.. Probably
don't like folks in the service bay due to liability insurance .

Have a renewable energy day,

Mark
