Well, I'm selling my 2011 leaf and already purchased a used 2022 mini
cooper. I know it's considered a compliance car, with only about 120
miles range, but compared to 30-60 we've been getting in the leaf, that
will seem like infinity. Plenty for greater seattle area, anyway.
My wife wanted something smaller than the leaf and, I think, the only
other commercially available choice would be the smart EV, which really
doesn't have enough range.
So far, I'm pretty happy with the mini. It has a bunch of features I
don't care about, but the seats are way more comfortable than the leaf
and the visibility going around corners and through intersections is
also much better. The only drawback so far, for me, is there appears to
be no way to monitor the state of charge without going to the vehicle
and unlocking it. The leaf had 3 flashing lights on the dash which could
be seen at a distance. Not great but better than nothing.
Anyone want to buy a leaf ? 45000 miles, 8 bars. Some minor scratches
and dents. I'm asking $4k but could accept less. Pictures and more
details available if anyone is interested.
