You can spend upwards of $7-8k for a top of the line 2-wheel E-bike. Or, for about the same outlay, you can have a 4-wheel EV, if you live in Europe.

The 1978 Comuta-Car cost $5k. That's about $24,500 in 2023 dollars. The Ami costs 1/3 as much and is a better EV. Now that's progress.
