I don't have any experience with this company but I'll voice my opinion,
for what it's worth. First, what kind of warranty do they offer ? If
something goes bad, I think you're pretty much on your own. At the very
best, you could remove the faulty part (e.g. a cell) and ship it back to
China for a replacement. But if they decide not to honor their warranty,
you're completely out of luck. Perhaps having an office in Switzerland
helps their credibility, but I presume you would still have to pay
shipping to somewhere.
Second is the price. For example, you can buy a 24kWh Nissan replacement
battery for $5500, including installation labor, or $0.23 / Wh. By
comparison, the unit you are looking at is roughly 5kWh, or $0.22 / Wh.
Not a huge difference. And this is the Nissan retail price, including
installation labor.
Third, I downloaded one of their spec sheets. I don't see any mention of
a BMS. So, assuming you want that, you'll need to find something that
works with the battery and make sure it can be configured for the
battery technology.
My take would be to buy something where you can get "local" service and
replacement parts are easy to get and you have local laws helping ensure
a warranty is honored.
Admittedly, aside from kWh, I'm not considering other factors, such as
how many charge cycles the cells can withstand or the charge and
discharge rates. Maybe those are critical for your application.
