Subject: Re: [EVDL] Why not an open source EV?

The project is working now, we have more orders than we can fill right now!

I love the product Phil, even taken a test ride with Jay Donnoway on Bainbridge
Island, Pacific EV. The conversion is well done, and a pleasure to drive and
those RAM Promasters are absolutely huge inside and they have a really low flat
floor. They would make a nice camper, which of course has also been done by
Maxwell/Pacific in the form of the Tofino RV. I would love to do my own camper
conversion, but for a long range EV, I need a bigger battery. A camper
conversion is pretty heavy and it needs to be able to scale mountain ranges and
dry camp in strange off-the-beaten-track places. I think 100KWh would be enough
battery, but 125KWh would be great. I know you have probably already heard this
Phil, but I thought it might be good to put it out there, just in case others
might be thinking/wishing for the same thing.
