The ID4 was developed primarily for the EU market where residential mains 
are 230-240 volt.  So there's a pretty good chance that it's capable of 
handling that voltage.  Regrettably it's a pricey failure if not! 

Can you open it and have a look at the individual components' voltage 
ratings without being too obvious?  That might give you a better idea of the 
odds for success.
