Back up to 14.4 while charging. The original 2013 Leaf battery registered 6vdc
at rest and the Leaf won't" function without a 12v source. I don't see why a
starter battery is needed. There are inexpensive motorcycle Lithium batteries
available. Maybe one of those little things would last longer. Lawrence Rhodes
