Sigh. Same song, 295th verse (at least). You get a grant, buy a bunch of EVs, and hand the keys to people who aren't interested in them and/or actively despise them. Then you also limit what they can do with said EVs.
Why look at this, nobody wants to drive them! Our EVs are a failure! Who could have predicted it? Hey, taxpayers, look what we did! Please get sore at us for wasting your tax dollars and tell us never to do that again. Thank you, that's what we were hoping you'd do. Now let's hurry up and spend the rest of this year's budget on more big gas- guzzling SUVs. And don't forget to put those heavy, destructive, murderous push bars on the front.
