A web search on key words gives more than Bob is frustrated w/
a j1772 handle that doesn't fit/insert/remove properly. And isn't
just w/ Volt pih owners, other j1772 EVSE or different plugin
brands, each are experiencing a less than optimal fit.

Some of the results in the search links below mention lubricants,
replacing j1772 pins, or entire j1772 handles.

My experience is limited on j1772 insertion/removals, but I've
always had no problems for me. But remember I have a huge
amount of experience w/ tight-spec connectors used in
high-tech computer servers when I was a hpCE.

I learned to not force, but to feel the fit, and found many times
it was my approach/angle that was the problem. I just needed
to ensure the connector was lined up, then ease it in or out to
achive desired results.

Of course, today is a different deal. Today, I would have issues
using fingers that are partially numb from just having taken one
of my many daily (old-man) medications. That makes me wonder
if I too a going to have Bob's issues when I get my future
planned pickup e-truck to haul my future e-mobility chair around?
(my left hand is currently numb from all this typing. See links below: )
