EVs were used to deliver milk for decades. The milkmen made their rounds in the early morning and EVs didn't wake their customers up. As the customer base declined, the floats were retired or parked. No doubt some were scrapped. The headline directly refers to EV floats, and the impression that I got was that with the increased demand for delivery, some dairies are putting their old milk floats back on the roads. I'm not there, though, so I can't say I've seen them. I probably wouldn't have heard them even if I were there.
