I'm considering buying a used 500e and have a car in mind.
I'd like suggestions on the pros and cons of getting a pre-purchase inspection. That's pretty much an admission that I'm no mechanic. I'm not. If I were to do this, does anybody have a recommendation for the LA area? One option might possibly be to take it to a local fiat dealership to be checked out. That costs twice as much as what these mobile folks are advertising, and much, much longer. On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be much sense in paying somebody who doesn't know what he's doing for blind-leading-the-blind reassurance.
