Yes, most small scale fruit/vegetable "truck" farming is done with small tractors.  25-30 hp.  Rarely over 50 hp.  Most tractoring sessions, in my experience, last 1-2 hours.  I would have bought an electric tractor many years ago had something reliable been available.  A semi-successful  golf cart battery type conversion has been an Allis-Chalmers G, a ~10 hp tractor used mostly for cultivating.
