Granted you can save some money and buy a used EV with short range. I am sold
on the Supercharging Network of Tesla. I got 90 miles of range in less than 10
minutes on my last trip which was enough to get me to my Hotel where I charged
for free. Then next night I again charged at the hotel on 120 v which was
enough to get home. So I paid a minuscule amount on that trip. Then there is
the cool factor of nearly Autonomous driving. Top that off with software
updates which makes the car better every few months and The Tesla is just
amazing. Of course I am biased since my TM3 is my first EV.
