-What are you going to use the EV for: he will work commute, but both with
weekend Eco-touring road-warrior via superEVSE sites?

Since level-2 (L2-6kW) would take hours to recharge (j1772, tesla-hpwc),
when driving out of town (far away), plan on using a Tesla superEVSE. Since
there is only one CHAdeMO L3-50kW near you, the $600+ CHAdeMO to Tesla
adapter would only be worth it to you if you plan to be a Eco-touring
road-warrior (really long trips with lots of EVSE rfid cards in your
