Actually, I think it DOES matter. If the manufacturer can't be bothered with reporting the capacity correctly, he probably can't be bothered with quality control either. It reminds me of the countless LED area lights offered on Ebay and Amazon, most of them shipped directly from China. Almost every one lists completely bogus specs for lumen output and power input. The numbers they advertise are based on the sum of the chips' datasheet absolute maximums. But the chips could never sustain that level for more than a few seconds with real world cooling. The finished lights are doing well if they make half their ratings. Some are closer to one-third. If you look for them, there are decent and reputable manufacturers in China. I have 3 Ping 10ah LiFePO4 batteries that continue to serve me well. Two are almost 7 years old, and still have 90-95% of their specified capacity. But let me tell you, they weren't cheap. And 2 of the 3 chargers supplied with them have failed.
