That seems to be the problem. If anyone knows of good quality, high discharge rate 8-10ah NiMH D-cells (preferaably with pre-welded tabs), available at a reasonable (or even somewhat reasonable) price, I'd like to know about them too. I have an e-bike that needs new ones. I've been casting about for replacements, but most that I see are no-name Chinese cells and/or low rate cells.
