LOS GATOS, 10 may 2018, 6:35pm — A Tesla smashed through the front doors
of a Starbucks in Los Gatos on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The collision at the coffee shop on the 600 block of Blossom Hill Road
was reported just after 4 p.m.
The Starbucks was open for business at the time, but no one was hurt,
according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.
Urban search and rescue crews examined the building and determined it
had sustained only minor structural damage.
Damage to the Tesla, which appeared to be a Model S, was also minor,
authorities said.
Additional details about the collision, including how it ended up inside
the coffee shop, were not immediately available.
