I ran a short test today where I turned off the DC-DC entirely, and just ran
off the 12v battery.
The 12v system volt meter didn't show any wild voltage changes when the Zilla
started using lots of power, and the tach worked a little better (though still
not correct).
So, now I'm quite sure that my Zilla is now putting out a lot more electrical
noise than it used to.
sigh.
Taking it out to get it fixed is always a royal PITA.
