[Qualifier: I am only a little caffeinated. Today was my follow up visit at
that Dr that did some chisel, hammer& saw work on me last Monday (they said
I am healing OK, but it will be a couple weeks before it stops hurting, and
no, I got off the pain killers on the 2nd day).

So, afterward I went over to E Motor Werks on the SF Peninsula to ask about
that 40 Pro EVSE the Dr. had (I will use a separate post for more details on
that). But I left with a better view of what I could do to help the Dr get
his EVSE up again (EVangel work is always a mild stimuli).

After a couple of slips of strong Vietnamese iced coffee (all I can allow
myself), I also noticed I was still riding the quick, fast paced tech talk
buzz I had with the techies at EMW. That (snap, snap, snap the fingers)
quick paced, fast thinking dialog, had also left my brain in high gear.
So, with that in mind, please take the following with that, in perspective.]

There is definitely a difference in the life-pace between Seattle, WA and
other places that are running at such a high speed it is a wonder they do
not burn up, all the while they are in denial that their quick multitasking
life is not as good for a healthy family life or marriage as say, in Seattle
...

I love all the efforts Steve and his local EV community has made, but whoa,
25 minutes of slow, slow, slow, dry documentary ... ouch (like painful
dude).

I tried speeding the video playback up (adjusting the youtube speed to max)
with the cc on so I could read what was said, but it was still hard to not
fall asleep ... just to see at the end of the very long clip the e-racer
waiting for its green light with an empty set of bleachers in the background
(no one was there to see them race ... zzz).

I found a 1:30min trailer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUleWXHaM3g
that I thought would cut-to-the-chase and show the best bits, but it too
was only a shorter version of a long slow documentary. From 0:57sec to
1:07min was the only exciting part, and after having read:

http://www.seattletimes.com/nwshowcase/automotive/high-school-students-get-a-charge-out-of-building-electric-racer/

http://www.bothell-reporter.com/life/northshore-automotive-students-set-electric-drag-racing-world-record/

of how great dual motors, 800V, 1000hp ... just to see the e-dragster
bounce up and down off the line like its suspension was too weak
(thankfully, I played it too at max speed so it looked like it was going
down the track as fast as a typical NEDRA e-dragster).

Suggestion Steve, next time some one wants to do another video of the Shock
and Awe electric dragster, (IMO) get a better video crew to do the job up
right, and show off all the hard work that was put into it, in a way (or
pace) that does not lose its audience.
