Yes, the warrantee is 4 years with no special mention of the HV battery. I have had no issues to date and the two closest MB dealers both service the car no questions asked. I have not asked the cost of a replacement battery but there is apparently a Gen II and Gen III and one blog post commented the Gen II’s were hand assembled and the cost was ridiculous, the 2013 is a Gen III. They noted in the US the MSRP on the Gen III’s was reduced by about $5000 if you leased the battery so they figured that’s roughly what the replacement would cost would be and is about 6 years of rental at $80/month. I’ll have to ask the next time it’s in for service though I do hope mine will last at least 10 years. Maybe I should be putting $80/month away for that day.
