I have contacted a company call ESMA about there capacitors that can use as the main drive power in electric vehicles back in the 80's. You can see all the data at evworld.com/library/SuperCapBus.PDF These are very large capacitor banks of which 15 of the modules will replace the 30 6 volt batteries. Normally are use in city buses making a 7 to 10 mile loop. Can be charge at a stop in with 15 minutes. They quoted me $39,000.00 for 15 modules at the time. Perhaps, perhaps not. Musk put a thousand laptop batteries in a Tesla. Except for the leakage current issue with electrolytic capacitors, why can’t you put a thousand capacitors in an EV?
