The Portland International Auto Show opened today, January 28, 2016 at the Portland Conventional Center. The vehicle has a 15+ mile battery range and zero emissions. ] Where were the electric cars?: Has the electric car movement run out of gas? I was surprised that in the vast car show at the Oregon Convention Center I may have spotted a grand total of three or four electric cars and a couple of hybrids. I walked past several people asking the same question I was: Where are the Teslas? There was one pathetic hybrid that had marketing material touting its range of 27 miles on electricity before it switches to gas. This is ridiculous.
