City-Hall to get them to allow him to power and use his home-EVSE. Below
that is the City-rep's negative response.
Vlad ( ghelase.com ) will truly have to move a NOLA red-tape mountain to
allow him to charge his plugin. I wish him the best of luck, and we all know
what he achieves will be not only for his family, but for other NOLA plugin
drivers as well %

That's just great.
So it's not that the city NEVER allows private improvements on public
property, as I was previously told, it is that it ONLY allows them to
monopoly utilities and other politically connected private groups... Please
don't expect us to be silent about this.

Gentlemen,
I apologize for the delayed response, but there has been much discussion
regarding your request for the use of city-owned property.
Unfortunately, due to concerns regarding existing utility franchises and
the city’s aging infrastructure, Property Management cannot lease space or
grant servitudes for EV chargers on public property.
You are, of course, free to pursue installing your EV chargers on your own
property when properly permitted.
