I didn't say I powered my EV from the grid, you just made that assumption and acted on it without bothering to check if it was correct. Actually, I installed solar in 2008 the year before I converted the car, and supply the grid with 6kWh/day on average in addition to supplying the house and car. Ford has sold a small proportion of the total number of EVs sold. How many in the survey were in the "will when they can" category, and how do you know they actually will?
