Hello to All, Today, July 5th, Mitch Medford returned to the San Antonio Raceway drag track and got two killer low 10 second time slips within 1% of each other to qualify the Zombie 222 '68 Mustang Fastback as the new king of the Pro Street legal EV. A 10.243 @ 137.24 mph backed up by a 10.2750 @140.06 mph should make the 10.24 run the new record - once time slips are sent in and verified by NEDRA. This takes-out the White Zombie record set back in 2010.
The Zombie 222 weighs 3300 lbs., has a full interior, all its factory glass and its all original steel body, and is powered by a Derek Barger High Tech Systems 17 kWh LiPol battery pack that kicks out 1.2 Megawatts channeled through a pair of Zilla Z2k controllers to twin Netgain 11 inch motors.
