Lee Hart is one of the EVDL stalwarts. He's been here longer than I have, and that's over 20 years now. Lee is a true scientist, an electronic engineer. He's thoughtful, deliberate, and focused. He's not averse to recent developments, he just evaluates them carefully rather than jumping on the bandwagon that younger engineers often join. He's not going to use a microprocessor where a relay works just fine. Lee doesn't speak very loudly, but he has more years of engineering and EV design and building than most of the net's rambling loudmouths put together. Lee beats any of them in battery research too. I'm not talking about anecodotal "it works for me so far" stuff, I'm talking about actual rigorous testing. You can get a taste for the battery work Lee does in his meager spare time here : http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2008/05/charge-keep Lee also has an extensive background in designing real world commercial products that MUST be safe and reliable and not catch fire. So pipe down for a minute, and LISTEN to Lee. He's offering you wisdom. This is gold, freely given. Don't let it pass you by.
