For me, Practical means something you are willing to drive in traffic, can go freeway speed, and performs a useful function. In general, the "Solar powered" vehicles aren't useful vehicles. Fragile, uncomfortable, and frequently slow. I haul lumber, bricks, junk, etc... with my truck. It uses electricity now, rather than 10mpg of Gas.
