Being in the space business, I had noticed a HUGE new city in North Dakota based on the nighttime images of light pollution seen from space. I surmised it must be all that Fracking going on.
Now I see (a better image) and it is confirmed by others that this is truly a monumental pollution problem, and not just the light pollution, but orders of magnitude more damage due to the Methane carbon being burned by the tons per second. The area is bigger than Chicago!!! http://www.ecorazzi.com/2013/01/17/light-pollution-from-north-dakota-fracking-visible-from-space/ To see what it used to look like in that area: see this one: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/earthpicturegalleries/9386592/Light-pollution-on-Earth-at-night-as-seen-from-space.html?frame=2271532 Bob, Wb4aPR -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
