I wouldn't bet on that.  The use of coal just in the last 4 years has gone
down 20%!
And there is no reason to think it won't go down drastically more.  No
reason to keep mining it if no one wants it.

Remember that the power companies are totally obsessed with money. They don't give more than lip service to anything except the cost of energy. It might be coal, or oil, or natural gas, or nuclear, or wind, or solar... whatever is is the cheapest will get ALL their attention *no matter what*!

Natural gas and oil happen to be cheaper at the moment. But the winds of change blow hard and fast -- that could change any time.
