The solar panels on my car (200W) on 15 square feet make no sense compared
to the 1500 sqft of roof I have at home. Plus they cost 10 times more on
the car. Make no sense at all.

BUT, I use them to make the point that without them I cnanot get home since
for 20 years, the US goernment will not let me pay $1 a day to plug into
the outlet that is 6 feet from my parking space.

Also, they are great at field events where I can use the solar power to
power things without consuming gas.

I actuallyl made a second solar prius. I got it salvage with a crushed
roof. It was cheaper to beat out the roof with jacks and sledge hammers
and cover it with $2k worth of solar panels to make it look nice than to
pay over $2k for body work.
