That seems irrelevant to me, since motors can either freewheel or brake 
depending on what the controller does, but what do I know?

Egad, I'd love to adopt this sweet little girl.  I've always had a soft spot 
in my heart for Saab Sonnets and other somewhat impractical but sexy 2-
seaters of that era. But I can't handle any more projects right now, nor 
does the budget allow for them.  I hope someone else here gives her a good 
home and some loving upgrades.
