Finally finished my solar pier enough to take some pictures.
See: http://aprs.org/solar-on-piers.html

Right now it consists of five 12' floating sections with 2 panels each. I
can build one more section and two more finger piers and still fit within
my pier permit eventually.

This began in 2009 until the State of Maryland denied my application
because nothing is allowed on piers unless it pertains to your boat. SO
uyou can put a gas station on your pier to service your gas burning, bay
fouling, air polluting, noisy, stink-pot-boat, but you cannot put solar
panels on a pier to power your electric boat and run the exceeds back into
the grid for our house.

After 4 years of my lobbying efforts, $2000 in fees and two hearings, the
law was finally changed and now, last weekend I finished it enough to take
some pictures.

Should add enough juice to do all my EV driving.
