We just had an Earthquake, felt near Silicon Valley, CA (mild after shocks as
I write). It too early to know the news of the EVent, but everyone will know
more soon enough.
It was a significant one (perhaps a prelude to more to come), but not my
first. I remember awaking as a little boy my bed living in an area that is
Silicon Valley today, but was orchard/agricultural land back then.
I awoke to my bed moving about as the Earthquake jostled it about. It was
just enough to wake me up to think, 'Oh and Earthquake', and I went back to
sleep (young ignorance is bliss).
It makes this old man think of how much has changed ... Why would anyone
want to live in an Earthquake prone area like this ... and how glad I am
that I got to see EVs on our roads :-zzz
