    Ooops, indeed I did! I remembered that the tires had been balanced and 
later the driveline but I missed that the the problem had survived tire

   It's a tough one from the sounds of things so just keep plugging away at it. 
Eventually you'll run out of things that spin and in the process end up with a 
very smooth setup. Not so bad!

P.S. Wait, clutch?  Did I also miss the part where you described what happens 
when you depress the clutch on decelerating and then feed in brake?
