I have lived in many cities around the this world from New York to Tokyo and they all had autonomous vehicles for the drunkards and transients unfamiliar with their city. We called them TAXIs. I drove a taxi for three years, and you just had to tell me where you wanted to go and I picked the best and shortest route, always driving safely and smoothly like a limousine. I responded instantly to voice commands, and often passengers would fall asleep in my cab confident in my driving skills.
