Hi friends, Since some days ago I've been working at times on 'My English Toolbar', which might be a essential tool for some of us. At the time being, it's just a work in progress and can be downloaded from here:
http://myenglishtoolbar.ourtoolbar.com/ And also, I'm just created an associated website to give additional information or receive feedback, etcetera, at: http://myenglishtoolbar.wikispaces.com/ The toolbar was created using the Conduit service that I mentioned some few weeks ago. It's a time-consuming activity that involves a careful evaluation and revision of each selected site or resource, as well as, the time one spend getting the associated icons, thinking on a good short description (the hint line), and using the conduit web tool, which is great but not so flexible, because for instance, you can't move sub-menus, so when you want to relocate a menu or link sometimes you have to recreate them. Well, at the moment, the toolbar already contains a fair number of useful resources. I think I might have a finished first version by Christmas time ;) LOL And I would love to hear your comments and suggestions. If you have a good link, please tell me. It would be included in the toolbar as long as it is a good one. You know, there lots of resources for English learners in Internet, so the idea is to be the more selective possible. For instance, this week we could review the list of provided radio stations in the toolbar. Do you have a suggestion for a talk radio station to add/remove? In any case, everyone is free to add your own radio stations. That's one of the good things of Conduit toolbars. The other one, and what makes it work, it's the fact that the toolbar keep updated automatically, I mean, the owner of the toolbar can make changes (in this case, me) and in just a few minutes or hours, the changes are replicated in the users's toolbars. Well, manually you can select the option 'Refresh the toolbar' available from the left menu (labeled "Eng"). Thank you very much and I hope you also enjoy it, Pablo --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ESL Podcast".
