That is a good reason to avoid talking about religion.  So as not to hurt 
people unintentionally.  

(If there is a verb after the word 'avoid' we use the gerund form - verbing - 
for example: avoid driving and drinking.  And instead of using the words 
'without intention,' you can say 'unintentionally.'
