Hi Alberto and all,

It seems good idea to make communication through music, but singers almost

Use spoken language (not native one) and it's difficult to understand them.

Anyway this my song .It's mixed (audio for singer and video for a movie)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx_dPf46iOY
<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx_dPf46iOY&feature=fvw> &feature=fvw

maybe later I can translate the song to English.

Have a nice day.

Hani

Subject: [ESL Podcast] Tell a Song from your country

Hello eslpodders!,

recently I read your messages about most important factor about what

make a Culture.

I was thinking about at what a Culture is and the way we get in thouch

with it: As exemple when you visit a foreign country and you know very

few about it one 'factor' that gives you a feeling about culture is

food.

You don't have to know grammar to eat a local dish! Just open your

mouth and taste it. It is a straightforward way to learn about a

country.

As we (at least I can't) can't travel a lot to visit different places

I would like to propose a similar way to get in touch with all your

different cultures. Not with food this time...but through music.

I'd like any of you to point out a song of your own country (may be

linking a youtube video) that really you like and that is rooted with

the place you live in. So must NOT be a famous song or an anthem or

number one in hit parade!

I live in italy near lake of como. This is mine!

singer: davide van desfroos

song: ventanas

I am looking forward to hearing songs from your countries!

Bye

Alberto
