I want to start this thread in order to share useful tips for our benefit. Here a first one:
You can do a exact seach enclosing a sentence in quotation marks. For instance, to write that sentence, I did a search using: "enclose the sentence" and that way, I came to the conclusion that the sentence to use is "in quotation marks" (using the preposition 'in'). Well, the second tip is to use the wildcard symbol, for instance, like this: "a tank to * rainwater" That way you get results like these: - a tank to collect rainwater - a tank to catch rainwater - a tank to store rainwater etcetera. In some situations, it can help. My 2 cents. Pablo --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ESL Podcast".
