Stephen-
First, you need to install the bazaar package from apt: $ apt-cache search bazaar bzr - Friendly distributed version control system $ sudo apt-get install bzr Then you can start reading the Launchpad User Guide to figure out the rest: https://help.launchpad.net/FrontPage https://help.launchpad.net/FeatureHighlights/EasyBranching etc I admit that I am not yet up to speed with all this myself, but the idea is to create a local branch, commit your changes to your branch, publish your branch to Launchpad using "bzr push", then have another team member review and merge. I think we should have a review-then-commit policy like we have at OWW. Soon we'll have a new public Jira instance to help track issues. -Matt ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Stephen Mullins Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2008 3:41 PM To: erma-core@lists.launchpad.net Subject: [Erma-core] stupid question i have a small check-in i'd like to commit to the open source repository. i can't seem to find instructions anywhere on how to set up bazarre and check back in. i'm probably missing something obvious but if there are instructions anywhere can someone point me in the right direction for how to get set up for committing changes? thanks, stevo
