Hello,

Is anyone experiencing problems installing or updating this version in
conjunction with Symantec Endpoint Protection? The update process never
finishes and just keeps prompting to update and asking for administrative
rights. The full installer will hang trying to install. Disabling SEP seems to
allow it to install properly. This of course sounds like a SEP problem, but I’m
curious why I haven’t encountered this in previous versions. It’s possible a
SEP update is at fault also. Just throwing this out there to see if anyone else
is seeing issues. My system I’m on now where I can reproduce this is running
SEP 14.3.558.0000. I’m using the standard non-MSI installer.

I’m going to try and narrow down the issue further to see what’s happening.
Just throwing this out there in case anyone else has information or might be
affected by this.

Thanks!
