If one has any problem with a newer firefox version (broken internal
web-sites or whatever), one might has to rollback to an older version.
For individual users ok, but in an corporate environment troubleshooting
hundred or even more broken firefox-Profiles for users might lead to
even more hassle.
Kind regards,

In case you need to downgrade for for example add-on compatibility or a
bug that Mozilla has in new version but not in older (not unheard of).
Sometimes security comes next in corporate environments.

Why do you want downgrade protection turned off?

It would be helpfull if
1) "Dedicated profiles per Firefox installation" / "Profile per
Install" will be turned off for Firefox ESR
2) Same for "Downgrade Protection" (turned off for Firefox ESR).
