Hi all,
We introduced some changes to DOM events (adding window.event,
event.returnValue, and changing how event.keyCode inside a keypress
handler works) to be more interoperable with existing web content and
other browsers. These changes landed in 66, but make their first ESR
appearance in 68.
In case you have legacy content that breaks in unexpected ways, we've
prepared an article[1] that describes how to opt into the legacy
behavior via prefs. These preferences can be set via the new Preferences
enterprise policy.
