I've thought about doing something like this for CCK2, but I don't have
anything to report yet.

I am working on making the policy documentation at least call out which
CCK2 option corresponds to the policy mapping.

Unfortunately there isn't a 1 to 1 mapping for a lot of things (and
preferences is a completely different story)
