We use a .bat file that’s run during log on [to Windows] that does this. We have a mixture of virtual and physical machines in our environment. If the profile folder doesn’t exist [on the network share], it also creates one with some template files (user.js and prefs.js) – whose main function is to set the company intranet page as the home page.
Let me know if you want to look at the code. I am now struggling to configure Firefox in a VDI environment and we want the Firefox profiles to be stored on a network share in order to take them out from the user folder. I guess there should be a line in the mozilla.cfg file to change the path, but I'm not able to find it. Anyone has faced the same situation? Is it possible to specify a path where all the profiles will be stored?
