Hi all, Since a few days (looks like since ESR 52.2.1 update) a few users of firefox (windows) have the same problem : the passwords in the password manager are not saved (after you close and restart firefox, they disappear).
Options seems to be correct (store passwords option in about:preferences#security ticked, no exceptions). Everything worked fine for those users until now (including passwords stored since a few months / years) I tried with a fresh profile on those users workstation (removed everything in AppData\Local\Mozilla and AppData\Roaming\Mozilla) : same thing For now I'm unable to say if the problem is common to all 52.2.1 - I personally don't use firefox password storage, but an external password manager addon. I was wondering if the problem only concerned HTTP website (because of the "unsecure" popup) but It doesn't seem so (passwords stored on a HTTPS website give the same). I have no more idea for now, so if someone : - has noticed the same problem, - has found a workaround (even better), I'd be very happy to hear from you ! Kind regards, Denis M.
