Looks like it actually doesn't work - with "Require H.264 video" I get:

  No H264 found in the offer!!!

Also, although about:plugins gives the Path as in a user profile 
directory (as .../gmp-gmpopenh264/system-installed), it isn't actually 
there ... but symlinking or copying the the 
'gmp-gmpopenh26/system-installed' contents to the Path given in 
about:plugins - and then it does work ...

Not sure why Firefox says it's installed when it actually isn't - 
possibly a 'bug' or 'feature' ?

I guess I had just assumed it was working previously :-)
