Hi there, It seems like you've already discussed on this list the need for an officially supported main-repo Active Directory solution [2]. I've made a UDS session [1] for us to discuss this in more detail.
So far I've come to the same conclusion as on your wiki page. Let's get one "right" (officially supported by Canonical) solution to AD integration and the most promising is SSSD.
